Mr. Atipong started off with little motorcycle repair shop in 1969 after his marriage in heart of UdonThani city center. Later his business grew up to became a whole seller for famous brand of Japan Motorcycle Spare parts like Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki, Kawasaki. As competition grew strong between spare parts shop and he has to stock up lot of parts. Mr.Atipong and family is faithful Christian, love and trust in the Lord. He thanks God that provide and old paddle taxi man came to him and ask to put a motor into his tricycle. Then this old man can make more money and telling his friends. These make Samlor Skylab popular until today. The word “Samlor”, in Thai language means “Three Wheel”. “Sam” means “Three”. “Lor” means “Wheel”. “SkyLab” was nickname many people call this three-wheel motorized vehicle as “Samlor Skylab” because it became popular quickly among Thai people in the northeastern part of Thailand when the first US Space Laboratory Station; the Skylab, Make a Re-Entered into the earth in 1979. In 1977, the Atipongmotor Factory was established. Mr.Atipong has developed many models of Samlor Skylabs. Our vision is to commit ourselves to provide quality products and excellent services to customers. However, at that time the patented was not well known to any Thai Inventor. Therefore, Mr.Atipong did not have a chance to patent his invention. So the Samlor Skylab was quick copy everywhere. Our factory focus on every manufacturing process which supervised by highly qualified experienced engineer and mechanic teams. Atipongmotor is proud to produce Thai Invented Product and receive many support from government’s organization such Department of Industrial Promotion, SES Project from Germany, Thailand's National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA). Mr.Atipong continues to improve the products and providing outstanding services for all customers.
